Griffith Blue Heart 501.c(3) Nonprofit will be hosting our second annual “Shield the Hearts” event focused on first responder health and raising funds for our lifesaving police resuscitation programs.
Ticket Holders will join us at Shield the Hearts ’23 for an “Arizona BBQ Catering” dinner, engaging speakers, a silent auction, raffle, lifesaving skills stations, law enforcement book engagement, and a Griffith Blue Heart Blend Dark Roast coffee tasting from Real American Heroes Coffee Company.
VIP Ticket holders will enjoy all the accommodations of regular ticket holders plus join us for a private meet and greet with our speakers before the event where they will receive a signed and personalized copy of our speaker’s books.
SPEAKERS INCLUDE: “American Sheriff” Mark Lamb, Pinal County Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy Matthew Thomas, and Griffith Blue Heart CEO Brandon Griffith.
Sheriff Mark Lamb: Mark Lamb is best known as “America’s Sheriff”, but it wasn’t always the case. After being a business owner for over a decade, he joined the world of Law enforcement in his thirties and has thrived as a leader in his field from day one. Valedictorian of his training class, Rookie of the Year, Officer of the year, Detective of the year, and now Sheriff of Pinal County, he has always risen to every challenge in his path. As Sheriff he oversees a county the size of Connecticut, with over 600 employees and a 55 million dollar budget. Sheriff Lamb is now running for Senate. Born and raised until age 11 in Hilo, Hawaii and then Manila, Phillipines, as well as Panama S.A. and a two year LDS mission in Argentina, the experience living abroad has given him a deep appreciation for America. He graduated high school in Chandler AZ, and currently resides in Arizona, where he was elected in 2016 and is currently serving as Pinal County’s 24th Sheriff. He lives in San Tan Valley with his wife of 28 years, He is a father and grandpa, which are his all time favorite roles.
Chief Deputy Matthew Thomas: Matthew Thomas is a native of Arizona, growing up in Phoenix. He is married to his wife Susie of 29 years and has three children. Matt has been employed with the Pinal County Sheriff ’s Office for over 30 years, starting his career as a Detention Officer in 1993 and promoted through the ranks to his current position of Chief Deputy. He has served in several specialty units—Detention, Patrol, Traffic, Training, the Police Academy, Motors, Narcotics, and Investigations. Having served 18 years on the Pinal Regional SWAT team as a member, team leader, and finishing as the team commander, he was involved in and/or led over 700 missions during his tenure on SWAT. Matt has also worked in an undercover capacity, both as a detective and as a sergeant, while assigned to the Narcotics Unit. He has worked and supervised everything from street-level drug cases to large, organized-crime cases in a cartel-infested environment. Matt is an expert on Mexican Drug Cartels and authored the book “Interceptors: The Untold Fight Against The Mexican Cartels”.
